Pneumatic diaphragm pump material options
Air operated diaphragm pumps by their very design, are widely used in Industry for many fluid handling applications. This means that a variety of materials need to be available so that the pump can be constructed of materials that are compatible with the liquid being pumped.
The first step in the pump selection process is to always check a material compatibility chart.

The standard range of pumps are available with both metallic and non-metallic material options:-
Metallic:- Aluminium and 316 Stainless steel (either a standard version or FDA polished version).
Non-Metallic:- Poly Propylene, PVDF, POM
ATEX 1:- Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Poly Propylene with Carbon Fibre, PVDF with carbon fibre.
